What We Do

Our Services

A look at the deck work we handle most often.

Deck Installation

New deck, built from footings up, sized and framed for how you actually use your yard.

Deck Repair

Soft boards, wobbly rails or a sagging frame, we fix the part that's actually failing.

Deck Staining & Sealing

A fresh coat that fights off Vegas sun instead of baking off in one season.

Custom Deck Design

Multi-level layouts, built-in seating, whatever shape your yard actually calls for.

Composite Decking

No restaining, no splinters, boards that shrug off the heat.

Deck Railing Installation & Repair

Loose or missing rails replaced and brought up to code height.

Who We Are

Who's Doing the Work

We build, repair and refinish decks for homeowners all over the Las Vegas valley. Most people call us because a deck they already have has started to feel unsafe, the boards cup, a railing wobbles, the stain has baked off in the sun. Others want something that isn't there yet, a place to put a grill and a table that can actually take the heat nine months a year. Either way you're trusting us with the one part of your house that takes the most beating from weather and use at once.

Every deck we build starts with the footings, dug past the loose fill soil so they sit on solid ground, because a deck is only as stable as what's under it. We flash the ledger board where it meets your house so water can't get behind the siding and rot the rim joist, which is the most common failure we get called out to fix. For decking we talk you through pressure-treated lumber, cedar and composite, because each one moves differently in Vegas heat and that changes how we space and fasten the boards. We space boards for expansion instead of jamming them tight, so you don't end up with buckling come July.

Had a joist rotted clean through near the stairs in Henderson, didn't even know until it gave a little under my foot. Fixed it same week, board matches fine.

Deck Repair · Henderson, NV
Our deck out in Spring Valley was gray and cracking after two summers. Waited an extra day for it to dry before staining, worth it, holding up so far.
Carla S.
Deck Staining & Sealing · North Las Vegas, NV
Went with composite for the place in Las Vegas since I'm tired of restaining every year. Install took longer than quoted by a day over a supply mixup but they kept me posted.

Common Questions

Questions we get a lot

Answers to what most homeowners ask before calling.

Do you charge for estimates on deck work?
Estimates for deck installation, repair or staining are free and don't require a deposit to schedule. A written quote follows the site visit, usually within a day or two, broken down by labor and materials.
Are you licensed and insured to build decks in Nevada?
Yes, deck construction in Nevada requires a contractor's license, and any reputable deck builder carries liability insurance. Certificates of insurance can be sent before work starts if an HOA or lender requires one.
How soon can you start a deck project?
Scheduling depends on the season and current workload, but most deck jobs in the Las Vegas area can be started within one to three weeks of a signed quote. Repairs involving safety issues, like a failing railing or soft joist, usually get bumped up sooner.
What areas around Las Vegas do you work in?
Deck work is done throughout the Las Vegas valley, including Henderson, North Las Vegas, Spring Valley, Summerlin and Boulder City. Travel farther out, toward places like Pahrump, can usually be arranged case by case.
Do you build decks for mobile homes or manufactured homes, not just standard houses?
Decks and steps for manufactured homes are a common job, and the framing approach is often different since many manufactured homes sit on piers rather than a slab. Attachment points and footing depth get adjusted to match how the home itself is supported.
Is a job too small to call about, like fixing one deck board?
No deck job is too small, including replacing a single cracked board or tightening a loose railing post. Small repairs are often bundled into a single visit if there are a few things that require attention at once.
What's the first step if I want a new deck built?
The first step is a site visit to measure the space, check soil and access, and talk through what the deck has to handle, whether that's a hot tub, an outdoor kitchen or just seating. From there a design and written quote follow before any materials get ordered.
What does a new deck typically cost in the Las Vegas area?
Cost depends mainly on square footage, decking material and height off the ground, since taller decks require more substantial framing and stairs. Pressure-treated lumber decks generally run less per square foot than composite, but composite costs less to maintain over time.
Do you require a deposit before starting deck work?
A deposit is typically required to order materials once a quote is signed, with the remaining balance due on completion. The exact deposit amount is spelled out in the written quote, not added on afterward.
What happens if it rains or gets too hot to work during my deck project?
Framing and structural work can usually continue in most weather, but staining and sealing gets rescheduled if rain is expected within 24 hours of application. Extreme heat days may shift crew hours earlier in the morning rather than stopping work outright.
